Irvi began his film journey at the age of 15 by making a shortfilm “Aa Marathanalil” which was selected by Panchajanyam international film festival in children’s category and he was blessed by stalwarts like Ranji Panicker and Mammooty. With his passion for filmmaking he joined DG Vaishnav College,Chennai for Batchelor of Visual Communications and passed out as the best outgoing student.During his student days he made rapport with Tamil film personalities like Samudrakini ,Rangaraj and Pa Ranjith.He could also join the crew of the Manoj Vajpayee starrer webseries “ Familyman”. Irvi’s outstanding works are Indradhanu,Vidai,Thambalam,Malar,Deal or No Deal,Dr.Happy and Ma Nishada. In Tagore International Film Festival 2020 Irvi won hatric by winning “Outstanding achievement award” for “Thambalam”,”Malar” and “Deal or No Deal”. London Docu Forum awarded “Thambalam” best village documentary film award. “Malar” won Singapore international film festival award for best documentary film. Deal or No Deal” is selected by Chambal international film festival, LineCross pictures international film festival,7th Act international film festival and Cultural Artefacts international film festival . “Thambalam” is selected by Jaipur international film festival and International Shortfilm Festival of India. “Malar” is selected by Newyork –Istambul filmfestival. Presently Irvi is working on a feature film for OTT platform.
